Tempe Condos Close to ASU
Wake up, roll out of bed, amble to class. Thats the way students like to live, which makes a condo near Arizona State University (and Mill Street) in such demand. New condo developments are popping up everywhere near Mill Street and the lake, but they start at $400,000, and most are over $700,000.
For condos under $200,000, a little more in line with the student budget, there are several choices:
Scene One : nice clean 2 bedroom condos with a pool & washer and dryer in unit. Most are currently selling in the $125 - $140K range.
Los Prados: Built in the 1980’s, the community is nothing fancy to look at, but it has a pool, spa, sports court & sand volleyball court. 2 bed/2 bath units run about $170K.
Hermosa Place – Again built in the 1980’s. The community is on University Dr. with good proximity to campus, selling from $200K - $300K. Hermosa Place is a smaller development with about 40 units.
Delario Condos – built in the 1980’s but recently the entire complex was renovated by a developer. Units have new appliances, counters, cabinets, floors, and the exterior was remodeled. Its a nice small development with small but well laid out units. 2 bedroom units are around $200K.
